Poll Question: Around the World in 30 Days!

This blog has been up just over 30 days! I cannot believe how fast the time has passed. It has been a tremendous amount of fun and quite a learning experience. I have met some wonderful folks with interesting backgrounds and look forward to meeting many more in the future. I’m having a great time writing posts! Thanks to the many comments I have received and the support from so many.

So…just a few statistics to share with you.

• This blog has reached 54 countries (in all continents) and 42 states in the United States.
• Individuals have found this blog through over 90 different search terms.
• The site has been indexed by Google and Yahoo (still waiting on Bing…but I’m patient!).
• We had over 1,000 visits to the site with 557 unique visitors.
• We have an average of 3.3 pages viewed per visit with an average time on site of 4 minutes 45 seconds.
• We have 32 active RSS feed subscribers, with an average of 7 visits per day.
• We have 115 Comments on the site with almost half mine in reply to those who commented (and a couple from my mom!). Some were interesting and a bit heated discussions. And that’s a good thing! Please keep the comments coming!
• We have 29 subscribers to Comments on the site.
• The Spam filter caught 48 “true” spammers and about 4 – 5 of you legitimate contributors who had to be released from Spam prison. Thanks for your patience as we work to release you as quickly as possible! (By the way, if you were legit and somehow we didn’t rescue you from the filter, please let me know via the Contact Me form.)
• There have been 10 polls (including the one on this post). We had 123 unique voters for a total of 347 votes cast.
• The most visitors on line at the same time numbered 17.

Organic search: 94 keywords bringing 201 visitors to the site Top referring sites: LinkedIn.com, followed closely by Twitter make up 2 of 45 referring sites

In summary, I’m looking forward to continuing the blog and keeping in touch with the many people I have met and meeting many more in the future. Please keep the comments coming, and I hope you continue to read. Let me know if there is a particular topic you’d like to see covered and any other suggestions on what you’d like to see on this blog.
